Sarhunova, E. Libraries and health conservation / E. Sarhunova / Culture of Healthy Life. - 2009. - No. 5. - C. 33-38. The topic of the diversification of the functions of the modern library today is relevant and does not leave the professional press. We seem to be surprised by the enormous polyfunction of the institutions in which we work. Libraries, especially public libraries, have long been removed from the memorial, information, cultural and financial institutions. Cultural, analytical, creative, ideological, pedagogical, socializing, educational, socio-rehabilitation, socio-rehabilitation, communication and etc. can be added to library functions. The mission of a self-destructive library aimed at identifying and complicating socially relevant problems of society is a requirement for new living conditions in municipal libraries. To be in the context of social change, to capture these changes and to define forward-looking, strategic directions in its development, while remaining in the context of socially meaningful institutions, is the key to the successful development of the organization and wise management. As the Director of the State Special Library for the Blind, I would like to invite colleagues to discuss the activities of the library as an accomplice in a public matter such as the preservation of the health of the nation. There is no need to speak of the importance of health for each of us and for the State as a whole. There is a need to re-examine the role of the library in promoting the philosophy of health conservation. The focus on writing this material for me was the Ludmila Mishina article on the Golden Library of the Belarusian CBS of the Republic of Carelia, which assumed the functions of the Health Centre. Perhaps a ambiguous view of the library professionals will be that the gym is appropriate in the library room, that the librarian of its own personalities be reconciled. ♪ ♪ |
