Ravi Yoga For Starters

I've been doing yoga since I was ten years old, school bench. And my view of yoga, of course, is very different from how my Russian students treat it.

I went to a traditional Indian school, whose schedule was always prayer in the morning, and after school, games and music. From the fourth grade, once a week, we practiced asan. That's how yoga came into my life. I've been doing it at school for seven years, and then I went to college.

And that's because of moving to Russia, it took a break. First of all, I'm a scumbag all the time, and the cold muscles are dangerous. Second, the dormitory room I shared with two neighbors, there was very little space. And about going to special studios or clubs, I didn't know.

When I returned to India after the institute, I resumed classes and some time later. I started teaching yoga. At school, kids are a hobby. And as a yoga teacher (this is my extra job), he went back to Russia to study in the field.

In India, about 80 per cent of people are Hindu. For them, the practice of different yoga is an integral part of religious rituals. At least five to ten minutes a day for meditation. But no one will call it yoga, it's just a part of life.

The Indians are not limited to what is often done in the West. However, I have never been opposed to such an approach to yoga. Even if you're only interested in physical pressure, but at the same time you're happy and better, it's a plus. My only recommendation is to gradually move to daily practice. I've been doing yoga for almost every morning, 15-20 minutes meditating and breathing exercises. I usually spend an hour and a half an hour and three times a week on Asan's practice. Such a regime can be reached for six months. The result will not make itself wait: your organism will work as a Swiss watch.
